How To Boot And Install Windows 7 From USB Flash Drive

If you want to Install OS in your system, but do not want to burn into a DVD, here is how you can create a boot-able USB drive(PENDRIVE) to install Windows 7 on your system.
Format USB Flash Drive to NTFS Format


For Windows 7:

Open your Windows Explorer, you should see the USB storage drive in the Device With Removable Storage. Right click and select Format. Select NTFS from the drop down bar. Click Start.

On the Start menu, navigate to the command prompt entry. Right-click and select Run as administrator.

Creating bootable USB flash drive

if u have Windows 7/XP ISO (32-bit/64-bit) image file means Extract the files to a folder using power ISO   or Magic disk software.

(you can name the folder any name you want, but for illustration purpose, I name it win7) in your desktop.

In your command prompt, cd to the windows 7 folder.
change directory to the F: then

cd windows/win7 (Change the destination to the folder that you have extracted)
cd boot
bootsect /nt60 L: (L is the drive latter of your USB drive )

Now, copy all the files from the Win7 folder to the USB flash drive.

Reboot the computer. Remember to change the first boot device to your USB drive in the BIOS.

You should be able to install Windows 7 from your USB flash drive now.

using that flash drive you can install more than one system. so avoid burn using DVD SAVE MONEY....

For Windows XP,:

(For Win XP only. in your Windows, go to Control panel -> system -> hardware -> Device manager.

Under the disk drives section, right click on the USB storage drive and select Properties.

Go to the Policies tab, select optimize for performance. Click OK.

Open your Windows Explorer, you should see the USB storage drive in the inventory. Right click and select Format. Select NTFS from the drop down bar. Click Start.

 Already having windows 7/XP iso (image) file means , Extract the  files to your desktop.

Open a command prompt (Start –> Program –> Accessories –> Command Prompt).

**for example i use the file name as MBRWiz2.o/ (you can name the folder any name you want)

cd Desktop/MBRWiz2.0/
MBRWiz /list

Record the USB flash drive disk number

Make the USB drive active.

mbrwiz /disk=X /active=1

7. (FIX)பிக்ஸ் என்ற option தேர்வு செய்து Yes பட்டனை கிளிக் செய்யவும்.

8. இப்பொது உங்களது மெமரி கார்டில் உள்ள தரவுகள் எல்லா ம் அழிந்து 2GB மெமரி கார்டாக மாறிவிடும்.

9. மெமரி கார்டை கணினியில் அகற்றிவிட்டு மீண்டும் கணினி யில் சொருகவும். மெமரி கார்டி ன் அளவு 1912MB என்று காட்டபடும்.

HOW TO INSTALL..

1.click start download To install SP1 immediately, click Open or Run, and then follow the instructions on your screen. To install SP1 later, click Save and download the installation file to your computer. When you're ready to install SP1, double-click the file.

Uninstalling SP1 using Programs and Features:
   The easiest way to uninstall SP1 is using Programs and Features.
1.Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Programs, and then clickPrograms and Features.
2.Click View installed updates.
3.Click Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB 976932), and then click Uninstall.

If you don't see Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB 976932) in the list of installed updates, your computer likely came with SP1 already installed, and you can't uninstall the service pack. If the service pack is listed but grayed out, you can't uninstall the service pack.
Uninstalling SP1 using the Command Prompt:
1.Click the Start button , and then, in the search box, type Command Prompt.
2.In the list of results, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.Type the following: wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932
4.Press the Enter key.
